General Team Information
SO is a school-based competition. All students must attend the same school (public, private or home) , and the school must be the official sponsor of the team. Team configuration rules from the National website can be accessed here. We are happy to answer any questions about team requirements. A school can register up to two teams from the same school, however, they must compete as separate teams. Each registered team is required to bring two coaches (often the second coach is a parent or community volunteer) to the tournament to assist with events.
Middle School (Division B): Registration is $150 per team for the 21-22 school year.
High School (Division C): Registration is $200 per team for the 21-22 school year. If you pay by 12/1 the cost is reduced to $180.
Grant money for registration may be available.
